Pride 2024

Mark your calendars for  PRIDE!

This year, Western Market will once again be hosting a Beer Garden* fundraiser in our parking lot, in concurrence with Ferndale’s Pride celebration.

*(plus wine, hard cider and N/A options)

The event is scheduled for SATURDAY, June 1, 2024 from 1-9pm. Our store will be open from 8am to 8pm during PRIDE.

We will be partnering with FernCare Free Clinic and the Ferndale Pride Organization as charity nonprofits. All proceeds from wine and beer sales will benefit FernCare, which provides free medical services to people without health insurance, and Ferndale Pride, which supports & partners with the local LGBTQ+ population. DJ Pappa Kitty will be providing tunes, with a special live set by Duane! We’ll be hosting Karaoke, games (Cornhole, anyone?) and hopefully having lots of fun.

Our beer selections will be provided by Eastern Market Brewing Company in their awesome kegerator truck!

We’ll also be grilling some of our fantastic housemade sausages and brats (and yes, vegan options will be available). Preview the menu below.

In order to set up for the event, our parking lot will be closing on Friday, May 31 at 3pm. Street parking will still be available at this time.

On Saturday, June 1, Nine Mile in front of our store will be closed for Ferndale’s celebration, and our parking lot will be hosting the fun.
